Address Correction

Every undeliverable piece of mail costs your business or organization the time to prepare the mailing plus the cost of materials, printing, and postage. CBS can correct address data and assign codes for postal automation, data enrichment, and other purposes. When CBS corrects addresses, it is standardizing them to USPS.(United States Postal Service) standards. Here is what we can do:

• Verify that the city, state, and Zip Code agree with one another. If you have only a city and state, we can usually add the Zip Code, and vice versa.
  
• Standardize the address line. For example, correcting a misspelled street name, fill in the missing information, and strip out unnecessary punctuation marks.
• If your address list contains any undeliverable addresses we will identify these for you.
• We can also assign an error status code to help you find out why addresses were not assigned or how they had to be corrected.
